Tens of thousands of locals, newcomers, and tourists line the streets of Downtown and Old Town Auburn to watch the premier event of the holiday season. As floats make their way up the parade route from the Fairgrounds to the Chamber of Commerce, Santa takes his place at the Monkey Cat restaurant, and festivities swarm the air. Make sure to come early as parking is scarce after 4:30pm and don't forget to bring something to bundle up in. There will be craft and food vendors lining the streets coupled with open houses of local businesses starting anywhere after 2:30 in the afternoon and make sure to take advantage of the local sales which will only take place on the day of this fabulous event!
