WHAT IS THE DOWNTOWN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION?
The purpose of The Downtown Business Association is to promote and keepthe Downtown district thriving and economically viable as reflected inour mission — “To unify and promote the Downtown Business District asthe Heart of Auburn”.
Your membership into the DBA is automatic with your purchase of a CityBusiness License as long as your business is located within theBusiness Improvement District. Your financialcontribution to the DBA is on the third line of your business licensewhere “DBA Assessment” is noted. These funds are collected by the cityand administered by the DBA board of directors. The current officersare listed on the opposite page.
We welcome your participation in the organization and activities of theDBA. We have regular monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of themonth at 6:15 pm in the Masonic Hall. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet your fellowbusiness people and to be kept informed of current events and issueswhich affect Downtown Auburn.
